A non-returnable registration fee of £100.00 is payable when parents apply for their daughters to be admitted to the school. A deposit of £500.00 is required on acceptance of a place and is refundable only at the end of a pupil’s education at Greenacre. It is not refunded if a pupil, having accepted a place, does not join the school. Fees are reviewed by the Governing Body annually in the Spring Term. Any changes will take effect from the following September.

Scholarships and Bursaries

Scholarships and bursaries are available only on entry to Year 7 and Year 12.  All candidates sitting the Year 7 Entrance Examination, which will be held on Friday 6 January 2017 for entry in 2017,  are automatically considered for Academic Scholarships (including the Founders’ Scholarship.  Specific applications are required for Art, Drama, Sports, and Art Scholarships and shortlisted candidates will be assessed on Wednesday 11 January 2017.

Candidates for entry to the Sixth Form, both external and internal, may apply to sit the Sixth Form Scholarship Examinations which will be held on Saturday 19 November 2016 for entry in 2017.  Two subjects nominated by the candidates that are to be studied for A level will be examined and awards made on the basis of those examination results.

A limited number of means tested bursaries are available to ensure that Greenacre School is accessible to all Senior pupils regardless of parental income. For pupils new to the school the award of a bursary is subject to passing the Entrance Examination and will be awarded with reference to performance in the Examination and all other family circumstances.
